Accessing and Basic Usage of W Box NVR

W Box / Hikvision OEM -- NVR Basics

1. Install the Plugin for your device:
 Mac / Windows

 

2. Open your domain in a Internet Explorer or Safari.
3. Enter your username and Password.
4. Click Login when done.

Setup Office 365 in Outlook on Android

Step 1

Open the Outlook for Androidapp. The icon looks like this:

If you don’t have it yet, download Outlook for Androidfrom the Google Play Store.

Tap Get Started if it’s your first time.

Otherwise, open the Menu and tap Settings > Add Account >Add Email Account.

Tap and open the menu.

Go to Settings

Select Add Account

Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.

Note: If you’re asked to choose your provider, you’ll have to Set up your Exchange manually or set up an IMAP or POP account.

Enter your email address.

Enter your email account password and tap Sign In or Next.

Note: The sign in screen may look different for you depending on your email provider.

Enter your password for your email account.

Step 5

If 2-step verification is enabled, verify yourself using the method you set up (6 digit code, phone call, or Microsoft Authenticator app).

Note: If you’re prompted to Set up 2-step verification for Office 365, it may be required by your IT admin.

Check your text messages and enter the 6 digit code.

If your IT admin has set additional policies, tap Activateand Activate again. Outlook may also request permission to access your calendar, contacts, etc. Tap Yes or Allow.

Tap Activate to accept your admin device policy.

Setup Office 365 in Outlook on iOS

Step 1

Open Outlook for iOS. The icon looks like this:

If you don’t have it yet, download it from the Apple Store.

Note:  Available for iOS devices using iOS 10.0 or higher.

First time using Outlook for iOS? Just tap Get Started.

If not, tap the menu icon the upper left corner.

Tap to open the collapsable menu in the corner

Tap Settings Outlook app settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.

Tap Add Account

Type your full email address, then tap Add Account.

Note: If you’re asked to select your email provider, you may have to set up your email account manually using Exchange or IMAP/POP.

Swipe through the intro and you’re now ready to use Outlook for iOS!

Setting up Hikvision App on iPhone

1. Click below to Install the Hikvision iVMS-4500 app.

When the install is complete open the App

2 . Select America USA as your region and press enter

3. Accept Permissions

4. Press the menu button

5. Press Devices

6. Press Add Devices

7. Fill in required information and click save when done.

Managing Users on Alarm.com

Login to Alarm.com

First thing you have to do is login to Alarm.com. You can login here: www.alarm.canitan.com.

After you login click the Users menu button.

User Code Management

You can change user codes, add and delete codes. You can also select edit user information or Manage Logins.

User Management

This allows you to edit user information. Select what security devices you have access to and schedule access.

Manage Logins:

Click the manage logins at the top of the User Codes page.

Managing User Logins

This allows you to add and delete users that have access to the Alarm.com APP and Website.

Windows has the wrong time.

Wrong system clock on Windows 10 might be caused by a problem with Internet Time server. Fortunately, you can easily change the Internet Time server by following one of these steps:

  1. Open Control Panel. You can do that by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Control Panel and choosing Control Panel from the list of results.
    1. Navigate to Internet Time tab and click Change settings button.

  1. In the Server section select time.nist.gov instead of time.windows.com and click Update now.
  2. Click OK to save changes.
